Brian Gast is a Vice President at Strategic Retail Group. Previously Brian was a co-founder of Arizona Retail Advisors [2008-2011] and Principal & top producer at DeRito Partners [2003-2008]. Brian specializes in retail tenant representation and landlord project leasing of new developments and existing shopping centers. While at DeRito Partners, Brian was both the Top Income and the Top Deal producer in 2007. Brian has completed over 400 transactions since 2003 and was 1 of 4 agents in the history of DeRito Partners to become a million dollar producer. Brian was one of the original Principals at DeRito Partners in 2006 and remained a Principal until 2008 when he left to form Arizona Retail Advisors.
Over the years Brian has developed many successful relationships with landlords around the valley such as: Kimco Realty, Ethan Christopher LLC, CNA Enterprises, Cole Investment Advisors, El Dorado Holdings, Barclay Group, Pacific West Development, W.M. Grace Company, National Retail Properties, Westwood Financial Corporation, Diversified Management LLC, Gabel Investments, Lawrence & Geyser Development, CNL Realty, A & C Properties, Diversified Partners and Weingarten Realty. Brian's many successful tenant representations clients include: Shoe Pavilion, Go Wireless, Sleep Savvy, Spirit Halloween Superstores, El Paso BBQ, Carl's Jr., Fitness-One, Francis & Sons Car Wash, Fahrenheit Tanning, and Acrylic Spas to name just a few.
Brian is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and in 2005 he was a member of the ICSC SW Idea Exchange planning committee and was Co-Chair of the 2005-2006 ICSC SW Idea Exchange deal making committee.
