Phil Bramsen is a Vice President at Strategic Retail Group. Previously Phil was a co-founder and partner at MBA Commercial Real Estate (2005-2010) and also a partner at the Focus Group, a La Jolla, CA developer of single tenant, NNN leased assets throughout the Western United States. Phil specializes in retail tenant representation, site selection, build-to-suit development, acquisitions, entitlements and project leasing. Phil has been active in the commercial real estate industry for the last 12 years and holds current broker’s licenses in numerous states and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Phil has completed hundreds of real estate transactions while representing National, Regional and Local Tenants as well as Landlords and Property Owners.
Prior to his brokerage career, Phil owned and managed several retail/wholesale automotive aftermarket businesses operating throughout the Western United States. This automotive background has enabled him to foster many strong relationships and led to the representation of numerous automotive clients for their new store development programs. He has worked with companies such as AutoZone, Goodyear Tire, Just Brakes, Fletcher Tire & Auto, Aamco Transmissions, Advanced Tire & Auto, Greulich’s, Pep Boys, Just Tires, Discount Tire, Jiffy Lube, Meineke and others. He has also acquired sites for non-auto clients including Buffalo Wild Wings, Starbucks, Wienerschnitzel & Tutor Time. Phil’s experience as a small business owner/manager has helped him develop exceptional management, communication and organizational skills, as well as a hands-on working knowledge of financial statements.
